SCHOOL BACKGROUND

Our Story

Christ the King Senior School – Kimana is a private Catholic mission school under the Catholic Diocese of Ngong. Established in 2005 through Christ the King Catholic Mission, Kimana, the school serves learners from Maasai pastoralist communities and other parts of Kenya.

Our mission is to provide quality education to children from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds while nurturing academic excellence, Christian faith, discipline, good character and personal growth.

The school currently has 545 learners, 12 teaching staff and 12 non-teaching staff. As enrolment grows, we continue to improve our facilities, including classrooms, dormitories, the library and dining hall.

School Vision

To be a leader in the provision of affordable, quality, and holistic education to the youth in the region and beyond, trusting upon God.

School Mission

To be an institution of learning that provides every learner with an all-round, God-fearing education, enabling them to face challenges with determination and confidence while trusting in God.

Religious Identity and School Symbolism

The photographs also feature two important Catholic religious images:

  • Christ the King: A depiction of Jesus Christ as King, accompanied by the inscription “Christ is the King.”
  • The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Child Jesus: An image representing Mary and Jesus, reflecting the school’s Catholic identity and Christian heritage.

These images reinforce the school’s spiritual foundation and its commitment to faith-based education.
